Cautions

Never use for floor decoration as the product is lightweight and not able to withstand heavy-weight.

Wear the protective equipment when installing the mosaic to prevent any accident that may occur.

Do not remove the mosaic from its net, use the scissors to cut along the cave.

Avoid piercing through the mosaic as it may be broken.

Do not use any strong chemical substances to clean the product as it may cause damages.

The product is not designed for re-installing, do not remove it.

Never stack it up against each other than 8 tiles.

Mosaic Tile Installation

Surface preparation

At construction site , most floor or wall surfaces are rough surface concrete or masonry. Thus, floor or wall surfaces should be leveled and evened with mortar to your preferable alignment prior to tiling (+- 3mm allowance).
The surface must be cleaned and dried. Any cracks or damages on the surface must be repaired and leveled before tiling mosaic.
Mosaic should be tiled on concrete or cement surfaces only.
The firmness of structure and all types of surfaces must be inspected before installation.

Installation Process

Prior to installation, please check that the mosaic has no fracture, chip, scratch on its surface. Mosaic must be tightly attached with its net. The entire mosaic must be glazed. If any problem is found, please return the product immediately.
Mark the starting point for tiling by considering on the position of mosaic bits which will be tiled to make it properly fit with your space. Do not soak mosaic in water before installation.
Apply tile adhesive on the wall by using flat side of trowel and then using V-notch trowel swiping away to create a section having length and width approximately 3mm.
Lay the mosaic tiles following your layout by starting from any side. Note: Do not use acidic-alkaline based substances such as silicone for installation since it composes of alum and may cause damage to the tile.
Adjust smooth level and grout lines to be equivalent to the space of mosaic (at least 3mm.)
Allow tile adhesive to dry at least 24 hours before grouting .

Grout Process

Clean tile surfaces by brushing away plastic bits, dust, lime powder and others adhered in grout lines before grouting for better sticking.
Grout by using a trowel to scrape across the section and clean the surface by using clean sponge to wipe up mosaic surface immediately during installation. Do not leave the grout dry on mosaic surface because it is difficult to clean.
Leave the grout to set for 24 hours before cleaning with water.

Cleaning and Maintenance

It is recommended to clean the mosaics with a soft cloth. Do not use any rough tools; such as scourer pad, steel wool and etc. to wipe out as it may cause scratch on the mosaic surface.
Do not use any acidic/alkaline agent or harsh chemical to clean mosaics.
