Service Procedure:

1. Inspect and recommend the areas or positions of installation
2. Properly install the air conditioner and connect related wiring at the designated spot.
3. Recheck and run the operation test after installation
4. Hand over the completed work to the customer along with providing suggestions and guidelines.

This service includes the use of following 6 parts and tools required for installation.
      1. A/C installation
      2. 10FT -3core electrical wire (Sirim)
      3. 10FT- PVC drain pipe (1/2”)
      4. 8FT- copper pipe (0.61 MM) + insulation

      5. 1 unit - Outdoor bracket

1. 1 unit - Wall hacking (hole)

Terms & Conditions for Air Conditioning Installation

1. Terms & Conditions of Installation

• In case of having an installation on any glass block, mirror, metal, wooden furniture, and any kind of stone, HomePro reserve the right to reject the installation.
• In case of drilling a plastered ceiling, the contractor/installer will drill at the area related to an installation only (exclusive of paint and ceiling repair)
• Working site must be a flat surface of 2-3 square meter with a height from floor to the machine not higher than 3 meters.
• In case that the height from floor to the machine is higher than 3 meters, the customer must provide scaffold for installation.
• In case that the installation cannot be made because the customer does not prepare installation site or does not postpone the installation appointment 2 days in advance, the company will charge travelling cost of (RM30 – Within 30km; RM50 – Within 31km~50km; Above 51km – RM50 for first 50km, remaining millage multiply by RM1.00 per km) per trip to customers in all respects.
• If the site require any special installation tools, it is advisable to inform the contractor/installer in advance to avoid changes in the schedule. HomePro will not be liable to any exchange, refund in any form due to this matter.
• If the site require extra installation equipment or exceed standard installation, customer will be charge accordingly. (REFER to TABLE)
• If the site condition require more than 1 day of installation work, contractor has the right to reschedule the installation date.
• In the event of installation work cannot be proceed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as unsuitable weather condition or any other circumstances due to the site condition, contractor has the right to reschedule the installation date to another day prior informing the customer before the installation work is being carried out.
• Customer has to apply for any form of working pass/permit in advance or before the installation date. If there’s no application done before the installation date, contractor/installer has the right to either postpone or cancel the installation work for that day. Customer will also will be charge a min of RM 50 for travelling fee for any visit that aren’t able to perform the installation due to this matter.
• Contractor has the right to also reject the installation if time has been delayed due the delay.                                 

1. Terms & Conditions of Installation Equipment

• Electric wiring and water piping will be exposed. For conceal work, there will be extra changes by contractor
• HomePro reserve the right to reject any request of conceal work.
• For standard installation equipment, the company will provide for ACTUAL USAGE ONLY.
• The company reserved the right not to deliver those unused equipment and neither to exchange nor refund in cash or discount.
• Contractor will advise on the location of the air conditioning unit. If the customer insist on installation in the area where the air conditioning is not suitable, HomePro will not be liable for any damage from the installation work and product defect.

1. Installation Warranty

• Warranty is provided after installation for 180 days and is responsible for actual damage due to installation service but not exceeding 2 times of standard installation service fee of HomePro.
• The company reserves the right not to accept any exchange or return of products which have already been installed.
• In case the customer needs relocation or re-installation of old unit, the labor fee will be charged as the price by contractor. HomePro will not be liable to any warranty for the relocation unit.
• Should there be any request for the installation of air conditioning out of the normal installation condition or any condition that may not be deem suitable by the contractor, HomePro is not liable for any refund or return if customer refused to follow the advice.
• The company will not responsible for any damage, leakage of gas or water after the installation which occurs from:

• The customer want to re-use the old or existing PVC Pipe, Wiring or Copper Pipe.
• The customer hires other person to install or repair the installation work made by the company.
• The Customer hires or engages technician of the company to work beyond the scope of service as indicated in the job sheet, without an engagement through the company.  If the customer is interested in using any additional service, please contact Special Service Counter or Service Center.

1. Dismantling Service
   • Dismantling is only for the unit that required to be installed
   • No service of dismantling only without installation service available
   • HomePro is not liable to install the unit that has been dismantled and install at the new place.

• Dismantling service need to be performed at the same address.
  • No warranty given for dismantling service
  • Upon installation of the air cond to the new location, HomePro will not be responsible for warranty of the installation.

• RM35.00 per trip for out of 31KM to 50KM radius from HomePro Store

1. Others

The company has a procedure to confirm appointment and survey customer satisfaction in using the service in order to improve service quality.  Therefore, there may be more than one contact to the customer.
